Tracking agency websites and newsletters is critical when seeking federal grants.
After the funding freeze in early 2025, it is highly recommended that you sign up for newsletters from granting agencies and check their websites weekly for new funding opportunities as this year comes to a close and throughout 2026.
Waiting for a previous grant officer to contact you is no longer a realistic approach. Many staff changes occurred this year. Some federal employees were cut or took early buyouts due to budget cuts.
